STEP 1: INQUIRY

The first step to any project begins with a phone call where we discuss the project in greater detail, with attention given to budget and timing. We will review the steps in the design process and pricing structure.

STEP 2: ON-SITE CONSULTATION

All projects begin with an hour on-site working meeting that is intended to provide a full overview of the scope and specifications of the project. We discuss design goals and inspirational aesthetics, as well as functionally what will work best for your family. 

STEP 3: COMMITMENT

Signing of proposal, receipt of retainer, and commencement of project.

STEP 4: SURVEY & FINAL CRITERIA MEETING

Before the design phase, measurements of the space are taken. If the project involves construction, plans are reviewed and meetings held with the architect and builder to ensure that all functional and stylistic requirements will be met.

STEP 5: DESIGN

A design plan will be presented that includes mood boards, floor plans, photos, fabrics, paint samples, and finish samples. Specific pieces of furniture and/or finishes will be presented along with pricing. Depending on the scale of the project this presentation may be held as one meeting or over a series of meetings. Adjustments will be made based on client feedback and a final design plan will be formed.

STEP 6: IMPLEMENTATION & ORDERING

Upon approval of an estimate and payment, products will be ordered. Orders and lead times will be tracked to ensure that the project is on schedule. If the project involves construction, site visits will be made to answer questions from the builder.

STEP 7: INSTALLATION & ACCESSORIZING

Upon completion of construction and receipt of all furniture to the receiving warehouse, installation is scheduled. The last layer of accessories, personal pieces, and art is installed with a professional team of installers.
